(SAQUON RUNS THE EAGLES TO THE NFC CHAMPIONSHIP)
*THE EAGLES ADVANCE TO THE NFC CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE 2nd TIME IN 3 YEARS (3rd Time in 7 Years)
*THIS IS THE EAGLES 9TH NFC CHAMPIONSHIP IN FRANCHISE HISTORY (8th Appearance since 2000 with ties for a NFL Lead with Packers and 49ers)
*THE EAGLES ARE NOW 7-0 ALL TIME IN THE DIVISONAL ROUND IN PHILADELPIA (This is an NFL Record)
*THE EAGLES RUSHED FOR A PLAYOFF FRANCHISE RECORD OF 285 YARDS
*SAQUON BARKELY HAD OVER 500 TOTAL YARDS AGAINST THE RAMS IN BOTH MEETINGS. (This are the most yards against a team by a Running Back in a single season. Saquon is also the 1st Running Back to rush for over 200 in the Regular season and then in the Playoffs against the same team)
*DOMINATE DEFENSE: Eagles D was able to keep the Rams in check most of the game including getting multiple turnovers and sacks.
*JALEN HURTS gets his 4th Playoff win which ties Nick Foles and Ron Jaworski for 2nd All-Time in Eagles History. He's the 2nd QB in Eagles History to appear in multiple NFC CHAMPIONSHIP (Donovan Mncabb leads 9 Playoff wins and 5 NFC Championship Appearances)
Sometimes you just have to believe. I felt this was going to us again last year before the collapse. The Defense was the reason we fell apart last year. Fangio has truly been our secret weapon this entire season. Our defense will always keep us in games. Look the Rams are a good team. Stafford low-key aired it out on us and they also rushed for over 100 yards. Yes they had us on the ropes. The Eagles still won because the Defense forced Turnovers. I agree with everyone about Kellen's schemes with the passing game. He needs to be better. But it was a snowstorm so I wasn't shocked they let Saquon ran wild again. How on God's Green Earth do you have 200 yards again after rushing for over 255 yards last time. Yes the Passing game was miminal but give the Rams Defense props, they were blitzing like crazy. I think the Rams D had 16 sacks in these two games which was an NFL Record.
Jalen is a WARRIOR AND WINNER period. Even with that nasty hit, he came back out and played. He was clearly in pain. Remember when I said, "The Eagles winning 14 games is normally a run away #1 Seed type of season". Well the Football Gods clearly realized this as the Eagles have Home flied Advantage throughout the playoffs. People had a lot of say about the NFC BEAST. What they gotta say now? Washington DESTORYED the Lions. I literally could not believe what I was watching. Yes the Lions D had injuries but giving up a 40 Burger to a rookie in the playoffs is nasty work. Also props to Washington. I have a lot of friends in the DMV. I was a kid when Washington was killing it in the 80's and 90's. They won 3 Super bowls with 3 Different QB's. I'm happy for them down there because they've been waiting for this for over 30 years. Jayden Daniels has been spectacular. I do think his Rookie Season was better then Big Ben's because the Steelers Defense carried that team. Jayden carried the Commanders this year. Big Ben lost the AFC Championship to Brady and the Pats that year.
So now it's an NFC BEAST BATTLE for a chance at the SUPER BOWL. Yes Washington got us the last time but we all know that was because Jalen was not in the game. Pickett still did well and help to put up over 30 points. Smitty misses a catch that would have sealed the game. So now it's Round 3 but back in Philly this time for a Chance to get to New Orleans. This is the 2nd NFC BEAST CHAMPIONSHIP GAME in NFL History in Philly. The 1st was in 1981 when the Eagles faced the Cowboys in Philadelphia (We won that game to go to the Super Bowl by the way). Other include Can't wait for the game. Brings me back to Mcnabb Vs Vick in the NFC Championship 20 years ago. Also Saquon is the MVP, it's time for a non-QB to get it. Regardless, if he keeps playing like this, he could be Super Bowl MVP (Saquon has over 350 yards rushing in Playoffs thus far). Time to take this all the way. It could be Eagles Vs Chiefs Rematch for revenge like we did against the Patriots or Eagles VS Bills (Every Bills Super Bowl was played against the NFC BEAST, they are 0-4). Either way, just win and get to New Orleans.
