How do we think the line held up without BG. I was trying to peep the rotations at d line but it looks like it was basically all sweat and Smith with a sprinkle of hunt. I was trying to see if they would put Milton or Carter at end for a little.
I was more impressed with hunt, seem like he was getting good pressure.

Breh went from a redshirt to playing meaningful snaps.

panthers game is a trap/sandwich game

they better prepare for that game the way the panthers been playig lately

The Eagles have passed a lot of tests that show me their SB caliber...Carolina is another test

We need to play sound ball, limit penalties, no turnovers, get our young guys some game exp & dominate

Every snap Jalyx Hunt & Nolan Smith gets helps the def long-term

We gotta bring Bryce Young back to earth next wk

Magic # to win the division - 3

This is why my brother andi was a fan but with mcnabb

Same. My uncles and dad are Steelers fans but at my grandmothers house in central Jersey you could choose between Philly and NY Fox channels and they always opted to watch Eagles games instead of Giants games cause they had a black qb. How I became a fan. Plus they had a RB named Ricky Watters which was huge for an 8 year old named Ricky.

They beat the Ravens in B-More for the 1st time ever. They beat the Bengals in Cincy for the 1st time ever. They beat the Saints in New Orleans for the 1st time in almost 20 years. This team has been making history all year. Saquon is the MVP as long as they keep winning, he will break records. The Eagles have firmly placed themselves in #2 Seed with this win with an easier schedule than the Lions down the stretch. Washington has a bye next and if the Eagles take care of business against Carolina they will have a 3 game lead over Washington with 4 games to go. Which means they can clinch the Division before the season is over. This defense is getting better and better every week. They just keep surprising me. Fangio's in game adjustments are masterful.

Last year this time, the Super Bowl hangover crashed the season. This year they are on an 8 game winning streak and just beat the Ravens in B-more in December. Look, Carolina has been playing better this last month. That team has done Bryce Young so dirty, the Boy does have talent. With the Steelers coming a week later, I don't want them to overlook a struggling Carolina team. This team has not quit. Anyways, I'm not scared of anyone left on the schedule. Steelers and Washington will be the toughest games but I feel we are better than both teams. I believe they have strong chance of winning out honestly. The only thing is the last game they will probably rest starters but even then our 2nd String could still beat the GMen.

I don't think Calcaterra is anything more than a backup, but the yards and catches he piled up when Goedert was out signaled to me that they're drafting the future TE this year.

In this AJ/Smitty/Saquon iteration of the offense Dallas is a luxury they really don't need to allocate significant cap space too, the injuries are just another notch against him. Makes more sense to shift those resources towards the Baun extension they're working on.

Calcaterra looked decent when Goedert was out...the problem is Jalen only trusts him when def is playing zone

I think we draft a TE in rd 2 or rd 3

baun is about to be 28, so I wouldn't commit more than 3 yrs, 2 guaranteed...we still have to develop Trotter bc he's the future

I feel like the league is overrating Detroit. If we just took out Baltimore and they have a top 3 RB and a top 3 QB, I'm not understanding what Detroit is supposed to do with a middle of the pack QB. Like I understand Gibbs is nice but if that mattered, Baltimore would've beat us.

Overrated? I don't know Man, give those Boys props. I remember exactly when I knew, "Holy sh!t, the Lions are a good team now". It was week 1 in the 22 Super Bowl Season. Eagles went into Detroit and got into shootout. They won the game 38-35, and that started our Super Bowl run (Eagles won 8 straight to start that season). The Lions started 1-6 that year, it was like "OK, same ol Lions". Then something happen, they finished the season 8-2 and had a winning record of 9-8. They would miss the Wild Card by one game. Then the next year they went in to KC opening day and got the W on the way to the NFC Title game for the first time since the early 90's. Mind you Matthew Stafford never sniffed the NFC Title game with the Lions in over a Decade but Goff got them there. (Yes I know Matthew won the Bowl in LA on his 1st year but Goff also got them there too).

Now they have won 10 games in a row and are 11-1 coming off a NFC Title game appearance where they did almost beat 49ers in San Fran. The Freaking Lions winning 10 straight, what timeline are we on? So no, I wouldn't say overrated, they are good now. The issue is they kinda remind me of those Colts teams from the 2000's. They would start out hot winning 9, 10 or 11 games in a row but wear down and then flame out in the playoffs. Lions should have lost at least 3 of these games in the streak including to Houston where Goff threw 5 Picks. Also Chicago had them on the ropes on Thanksgiving. I do think the Eagles are better but I won't shade Detroit, they are finally good since the Barry Sanders days. Who do you trust to take them down outside of us? Maybe Greenbay or Minny since their a Division team but I don't really trust the other playoffs teams to stop them (Seattle, ATL, Washington etc) We just need them to drop 1 or 2 games down the stretch and the #1 Seed will be ours.
