I would say the average Philly sports fan only gets into the Phils and Flyers if they're doing well

Phillies were below average for like 10 years and hardly anybody talked about them

I don't wanna sound like a Coli militant, but I think the demographics of our current team (majority white) and the recent playoff success have made the Phillies more popular.
Were those same people talking about the team when we had Odubel Herrera and Maikel Franco as our best players 7-8 year ago?
