Came in here to post this, and I don't mean to knitpick, but its even a bit worse than that. He led by 480k and lost by 1.8 MM votes. And it wasn't even a week, it was 3 days.

I was surprised to see Sandoval starting because the first thing that came to my head was "over David Wright"? Even as a Yanks fan I had the . Numbers wise it doesn't make sense, but leave it to fans and stuff like this happens.

In SF they did a marketing blitz for all star voting. They set up booths to vote at the park and everything. Pretty ridiculous but so is the all star game
