I've noticed that there are many Somalis with high cheekbones and slanted eyes, almost as if they were mixed with Asian. I have family members (particularly my sister) who look like dark skinned Asians.

We also have brehs like @Tribaligenesis who look Asian. No homo, he posted these pics in that photo thread, I'm assuming it's OK to repost them here.

Personally, i think it is random. I think you can find that everywhere in Africa and other areas in the world. A good example is the Sudani nubian singer Mohammed Wardi, had those characteristics, but does that mean there was Khoisan influence, nope!

Oldest civilized races in the world, no surprise that they would trade together and mix together. Also, there are a lot of dark skinned Asians, and don't forget the Polynesian like Samoans, Maori, Tahitian.

So I scanned over this questionable website and it's pretty interesting. It stated that the original Asians were in fact African. Kinda how many native Americans here looked African; dark skin, lean bodies, and tightly coiled hair. And some did look Asian aka Mongols. There is talk that the white looking Asians are a result of mixing with Albinos. Kinda believable, but then it makes me wonder who did actual Caucasians mix with? Or are they really just black Albinos? Interesting stuff.

From the DNA results I saw of various Cushytic groups, they don't have any Asian ancestry, the high cheekbones and slanted eyes is purely east African trait, that is why you can see some Nilotes with similar features.
