Samoa Joe is expected back in the ring by the end of the month after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery for a torn meniscus. He also underwent nose surgery to repair his nose which has been broken eight times and was causing him breathing difficulties.
:damn: 8 times, that's about the amount of times @R=G @'d The Rock about Tyrese & sum explosions
On working with Vince McMahon: "There's a lot of things in my WWE career I'm very proud of, things I accomplished that not many people get to live out in their careers. I've done it in a relatively short period of time, so that's really cool. But being in the ring with Vince McMahon and the ensuing situation there was definitely at the top of the list of things I'll look back on when I'm older and I'm not wrestling anymore. When I was 11 years old, I started watching WWE. He's been the figurehead of this company. He's been the man behind the thing I was obsessed with for years and years and years."

On getting mixed reactions from crowds like John Cena and Roman Reigns: "Whether it's one way or another or a mix of both, I feel like those kinds of reactions are the most interesting. The kind of reactions Roman Reigns elicits. The kind of reactions John Cena elicits. They're the strongest because you can almost have crowds competing with themselves. People cheering 'em, people booing 'em, people trying to be heard louder than the people next to them. That creates for this really special atmosphere. That's what I'm striving to, that's what I'm hoping to get one day. I'm well-aware that no matter how big of a jerk I am, some people will cheer me, and no matter what I do, some people will boo me, and that's fine. I just need to elicit emotion. That's all I care about."

On not needing to be a World Champion to be a top guy in a wrestling promotion: "I used to say that even on the independent scene, I remember a specific incident where one particular wrestler was really worried about being world champion. It's the company that I used to wrestle for on the independent scene, and I remember telling him that it didn't matter who the champion was because no matter how many times he became champion, I'd always be the top guy [there]. I feel like that's true in WWE as well. Not that I'm the top guy, but I'm saying I don't necessarily think the WWE champion, or the Universal champion, or any kind of champion, equates to being the top guy in WWE. I think that's determined by performances and attitude. Consistency is very important. Obviously, being WWE Champion, or a Universal Champion, is as big as it gets as far as winning titles goes. And that goes a long way to helping somebody become top guy, be viewed as top guy, but I do think that there's a difference between being a champion and being a top guy, for sure. I obviously value being a top guy more than being a champion, but one helps the other; they kind of come hand in hand."
Kevin Owens been holding it down without that title:whew:
WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss recently spoke with The Hollywood Life for an interview. Below are some of the highlights.

On acting in movies: "Absolutely! I would love to, at some point, cross over [to movies] and bring a mix of WWE fans and mainstream fans together. Merge the worlds together. I would love do something like that – or have my own little talk show on the WWE Network! I would love to test the waters and see what happens."

On her dream co-star, actor Bradley Cooper, and if he actually ends up playing Vince McMahon in his upcoming biopic: "I would love to work with Bradley Cooper, just to say that I worked with him. [Laughs] I am a big fan. He has to get that walk down! That's all I got to say. Nobody cam mimic the Vince McMahon walk, so he's going to have to work at it."

On Nikki Bella's comeback: "I am so excited for Nikki. She is an amazing woman. She is so great for women. To come back from a neck injury and to be on Dancing With The Stars, to be on Total Divas and to be on Total Bellas – she is such an icon. She is the nicest person you'll ever meet, so I am so excited for her and I wish nothing but the best. She is the one person who deserves it the most."
stay away from that casting couch :mjcry:
Chris Jericho recently spoke with the folks at Aesthetic Magazine Toronto to promote his new book, "No Is A Four-Letter Word." Below are some of the highlights from the interview.

On who he would pick to induct him into the WWE Hall Of Fame and whether or not he would show up: "I don't think about stuff like that, like I said. If it happens, I probably wouldn't show up. I don't like these big pomp and circumstance things like retirement matches, and everybody kissing your ass telling you how great you are, because I know how great I am, so I don't need people telling me that. So, depending on what mood I'm in, I've always been the anti-star for that kind of thing anyways. But yeah, I'll leave that to somebody else, but not me. I'll show up, maybe, depends how I feel."

On Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson possibly running for United States President in 2020: "I say he should go for it. Maybe I'll become the first Prime Minister and President, where I'll run Canada and the States together since I'm a dual citizen. You never know, I could make it happen."

On his favorite WWE Superstars to travel with: "Usually I travel by myself, but in the past I had a great time with Gallows and Anderson."
Only thing Jericho ever lied about is that he'll be back from getting a carton of milk from the corner store:salute:

The original plan for the Shield reunion at TLC was for the team to face off against the trio of Miz, Sheamus and Braun Strowman. The match was pretty much immediately penciled in as WWE was originally bracing for Cesaro to be sidelined several weeks after undergoing dental surgery. However, the surgery was successful and as we have seen, Cesaro was more or less immediately cleared.

-- With Cesaro healthy and the likely six-man tag match at TLC expected to be the Shield vs. Miz, Cesaro & Sheamus, it leaves Braun Strowman without an opponent. As noted in a previous headline, there have been rumors that Strowman will be added to the match to make it a 4-on-3 handicap match or a less likely scenario, replacing Miz altogether. However, according to backstage reports, neither of this is being seriously considered at the moment - instead, the most talked about situation is that Strowman won't be wrestling anyone.

On a recent episode of "The Dan Le Batard Show", UFC President Dana White was a guest and revealed that Brock Lesnar's contract with WWE actually expires in August of 2018, instead of the much rumored "day after WrestleMania 34." White also went on to say that WWE is not interested in letting Lesnar wrestle for UFC while still under contract with them as the last time they did, it really did not work out well for any of the partie
