New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo and secondary coach Ken Flajole have been relieved of their duties, the team announced Thursday.

"I personally want to thank Steve and Ken for their contributions during what was an unprecedented 2012 season," Saints coach Sean Payton said. "Philosophically we are changing our defense to a 3-4 alignment and right now is the best time to accomplish this transition."

I'm cool with getting rid of Spag's but moving to a 3-4

We got no one to play nose, Cam Jordan fits. Will Smith is Hopefully this means Tez will get more PT

And to think if we would have tanked, Jarvis Jones or the DT from Utah would have been right there waiting Instead we won acouple of meaningless games and are stuck at 15 way out of there range

Because of the new scheme, Will Smith, Sedrick Ellis, and Jonathan Vilma should be getting the deavors soon. I guess Lofton and Hawthorne would play inside, so who would play opposite Tez at OLB? Junior? Also, we seriously need to address the safety position in the draft.
