There are times that I believe that we, as African Americans, can be hypocritical, and that is to not look ourselves in the mirror when we are saying certain things and blaming other groups for one thing when we are doing the exact same thing. ... Calling someone a bedwench isn't racism anymore than a black man calling another black man a traitor for helping a slavemaster is racism. On the other hand, pushing (i.e.attacking black athletes for standing up to white racism and BlackLivesMatter), downplaying and egging on racism (the airport issue), self hatred and anti-blackness (saying she is glad her husband looked over the fact she's black) like Sage Steele does is in fact racism.

Further, Sage Steele perpetuating white supremacy by boldly proclaiming that Sage is glad her white man, "looked over the fact she was black" is a racist statement.
