half way through, its a great read, especially for students of history and the region. some quick tidbits from what ive read:
- hated the Bushes, thought Reagan was an honourable man
- when shown pictures of the chemical attacks on Kurdistan, his response "necessary"

Not as much as the Saudis though. And the Saudis HATED Saddam.
I'm convinced the war in Iraq, much like the Gulf War, was at the Sauds request. The one in Iran will be too and the wikileaks cables confirmed it.

i disagree
the gulf war, the americans apparently showed the saudis doctored satellite images showing iraqi tanks at the border
why would the saudis want an american war against iraq knowing that saddams over throw hands iraq to the shias
no doubt they supported a humbling and neutering of iraq because a- it was its biggest arab rival and b-it was out of its control but i dont think saudi arabian natl interests was best served by the iraq war
now keep in mind the entire family are a bunch of whores, and whores will do anything for the right price
