I think he's a good director. Most of Cutthroat city just couldn't act. I liked it though. And Iron Fist wasn't the directing that was at fault, it was that the story needed someone to help him reel it in.

RZA's a strange case. He was possibly the best on earth at his craft at one point, but he had a ton of side interests, and enough networking abilities to indulge them. And yet he never got very good at those things, despite being creative, having a lot of good mentors, and financial resources.

And then as @ShaDynasty said he got pretty bad at the thing he was legendary at.

Weird case.
