Former WWE Superstar Ryback (The Big Guy) recently sounded off on some current WWE-related topics, such as Dolph Ziggler's decision to remain with the company, Rich Swann's recent retirement announcement and more.

Regarding the decision Ziggler recently made to stay with WWE, The Big Guy spoke about the rumors that he signed a new contract for $1.5 million.

"They don't lose interest in Dolph Ziggler, it is all by design every time," Ryback said. "If you are not in that inner circle of guys that they want there, it doesn't matter how good and popular you are; some people have a hard time with that. People that are not there have no f**ing clue. They can speculate all they want, they're just outsiders buying tickets and watching it on TV. I have no idea; I don't talk with him about that stuff. The number he received seems very high because they like to essentially get indie guys and pay them as little as possible. There is a business strategy to what they are doing and where they have gone in that direction, but he has also put in his time, and is also at a point where it is all about money, and how they are going to use him, I hope he is making that kind of money because it is all fake, and sometimes you sacrifice what people think about you for money, but if he is happy with that I am happy for him."

The Big Guy also addressed Rich Swann parting ways with WWE and subsequently announcing his retirement from the pro wrestling business.

"[It was] unfortunate for Rich Swann that he was released, but the domestic dispute charges were dropped I believe," said Ryback. "Once a story comes out, he is one of those [guys] where there may never be another chance again, or they may bring him back in another year. It is an unfortunate situation, but it is what it is."
long as you remain a stooge you gonna get a pay cheque:yeshrug:
Baron Corbin recently spoke with the folks from The Times-Picayune to promote tonight's WWE Fastlane 2018 pay-per-view. Featured below are some of the highlights from the interview.

On his dream opponent for WrestleMania: "Growing up, I idolized Big Boss Man and Bam Bam Bigelow just because they were big guys who could move and were tough. I felt like they both rode motorcycles. And Bam Bam had his head tattooed. Those are the guys who really got me into wrestling. So one of those two at WrestleMania would be awesome. They brought me into this whole world as a kid, and it would be really cool to go to battle with them. It would make a really cool moment for me."

On getting revenge on John Cena for costing him a title win after cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase: "I think it would be good retribution [to cost Cena on Sunday]. To see the look on his face knowing his WrestleMania moment just got taken away, his dream of another WrestleMania championship match is taken away. It would make me feel good to know I played a role in taking his little dream."

On possibly ruining the opportunity for fans to see the A.J. Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura dream match at WrestleMania 34: "How many people can say they walked into WrestleMania as the WWE champion? I would like to watch all the people cry that they don't get AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura. There's a lot of gratification in that."
the big boss man v nailz had me :mjcry:
bam bam bigelow I really got to see in the wwf and he was in a match with lawrence taylor so :yeshrug:
As noted, WWE Champion A.J. Styles recently appeared as a guest on Lilian Garcia's Chasing Glory podcast to promote his title defense in the Six-Pack Challenge at tonight's WWE Fastlane 2018 pay-per-view. Featured below are some additional highlights from the interview.

On working with Jinder Mahal: "At first, it was different. Jinder came in and went straight to the top when he came to SmackDown and it was a position he wasn't in. And when you get to this upper level, things change in the way that you work in the ring, the way you act, everything. And he had to learn really quick basically how to be a big star in WWE, which sounds easy, but it's not. He took it well. I literally said, 'Jinder, what do you think?' I wanted to know what he thought, if he was okay with it, because that's important to me that, 'I'm not better than you. You've been a great champion. What do you think, man?' and he was okay with it. Again, he has been in the business for a while now, so he was very mature in the way he handled it and I appreciate that. Sometimes you have to wait your turn and sometimes it takes longer than you'd like, but eventually you'll be back on top."

On his "dream match" against Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania 34 and whether or not it should close the show: "There could be a chance of headlining WrestleMania this year. I've got to make it through Fastlane before I can do this, but if I get the opportunity to wrestle Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania, a match that no one has seen on U.S. soil, and only happened once in Japan, this could be huge. I need some payback [for NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 10], but he doesn't have the home field advantage this time. So it's exciting to think that something like that could happen, even if it's not the main event. They're going to wish it had been. I expect this match to be amazing. Nakamura is a great talent here and I feel like were going to tear the place apart to be honest with you."
