WWE star Ryback spoke with Digital Spy and was asked what he hopes to achieve before WrestleMania 30. "It's great to talk ahead. I focus on one day at a time, but my goal is to be WWE champion, World Heavyweight Champion," Ryback said. "My goal is to not just replace John Cena but blow John Cena out of the water. I'm very vocal about that. I want to beat John in all aspects of this thing - merchandise, fan base - because I believe I can.

"That's what our company - the WWE needs somebody who's not going to be intimidated, who's not going to be afraid. I'm that guy. We haven't had that. We need somebody. John's not going to be around forever.

"I have nothing but respect - I think he's one of the hardest-working guys in the history of this company but my goal is to be my best. And I believe my best is better than him. And he knows that too, and there's a friendly rivalry there and I look forward to seeing how I do against him in the coming year."

Dude needs to learn how to wrestle, speak, do shyt outside the ring before he can even talk.

I may not like Cena, but dude is amazing at shilling and for loving the Make-a-Wish people. He can also speak quite well, and not look like a complete idiot in non-wrestling forums.

I don't usually advocate Cena squashing and dressing down characters but Ryback is more than due

Cena better be above him all around..he's been around this level for 10 years now as they keep fukking reminding us:laugh: Daniel Bryan eclipsed all of this and they still held him down. Holding on to the naive thought that Sheamus is actually worth the investment.

I'm starting to hate dude more each time he opens his mouth :aicmon:

It's cool to be confident, but at the very least, prove that you have the necessary tools to take your character to the next level FIRST, then start opening your mouth if you want to, he hasn't done a damn thing, but injure Punk :deadrose:

Doesn't have the same level of charisma. He needs to try to be better than Bobby Lashley first. Then get to Batista level. Then we'll see.

Ryback better stop talking sideways and get his strength up. After seeing him drop Tensai a make a wish kid would request him just to spit in his eye. Its a shame that they just wont pay homage and make D-Bry that dude. He can wrestle, cut a promo and move a t-shirt. D-Bry had the Yes shirt selling like crazy, then had the same exact shirt but with No on it moving too. When I see Ryback two things are guaranteed......clotheslines and fukkery.

Exactly. He's talking like he's some kind of established veteran main-eventer. Jericho-level cockiness without the experience to back it up.

This dude has been in and out of developmental for the better part of a decade, and he's finally stumbled upon a gimmick that works for him. He's on a good run, I'll give him that, and I'm sure Vince and HHH like anybody who strives to be number one.

But ...

He might unknowingly be setting himself up for a shoot lesson in humility from one Mr. Mark Henry. :shaq:
