I see no quote saying cohen lied about trump giving him orders to lie. So it's another case of folks running with a title instead of reading the article until I see differently.

generally i agree with that.
but considering the circumstances, it's just interesting that mueller and co. actually came out and spoke about a media report for once in like what, a year and half or so? and they were refuting it, to whatever extent you want to believe, we don't really know at this point but they were refuting something. i mean, we can parse and nitpick their statement all day long but whatever the case, it's strange that they said anything, let alone that they said that.
and it seems buzzfeed is holding strong on their evidence and sources and everything...so i'm not really sure what to make of it right now.
i'm sure cohen can sort it all out when he testifies in front of congress though. :youdunfukkedup:
Eh, I don't put much stock in what this guy says.
He's basically a guy who decides to be unnecessarily contrarian on all things involving the Russia investigation.

I think Mueller and co. want to be the first ones to drop something that hot and buzzfeed was stealing their shine. In which case, I'm not mad at them at all.
Article in question literally states that the part they were disputing were text messages regarding some meeting being set up for Cohen overseas. I read the thing a good 6 times. I just don't see where trump gets off the hook for telling cohen to lie, which leads me to believe Mueller knows this and just wants to be the one to drop it.
