It makes me believe Trump lied in the written answers and they want to talk to him in person to get a better idea of his intentions, and also to give him a chance to correct the record.

They've tried to interview him for one whole year now. No need to even try anymore. He lied, show you tried to follow up and he refused. Don't even need to subpoena him at this point because it would take way too long in the courts to be resolved.
