I don't believe we'll see a corroboration of this, at least not at the moment because it feels like Cohen got caught up in SIGINT of a high value Kremlin target. To add to the Mooch talk he is smarter than people give him credit for. Trump should have kept him on board.
Its a blessing in disguise. Mooch shouldn't be tainted by what he knows to be a flawed guy.
Mooch isn't stupid. He likes capitalism and doesn't hide it, but he's fairly progressive socially...like most of the banking community actually. And he's Italian so he doesn't have that sort of extra-social connection level that a lot of the jewish community does. Its very interesting to see a guy like him move around. He was fairly well respected by mainstream finance if even left leaning economic guys like Felix Salmon always shytted on him
The media uses him to connect to the inner circle but he still has the independence to be observant.
If anything, he's what people wish Bannon was if only Bannon wasn't such a crypto-fascist.
