Yes I was stationed in Okinawa and the Philippines.

We were well received in Okinawa because they saw us as the ones who were stopping North Korea & China from bombing them back to the 11th century.

Of course there were some who didn’t want us there because of noise pollution & we were draining part of the ocean to make a new runway for our jets but

We break them off for being allowed to be there so they gotta deal with it.

I'm really confused as to why there is so much Syria talk in this thread.

This thread is primarily focused on the Russia Investigation and all things related. You can argue the strike on Syria which is backed by Russia is related to a degree.

But the difference between this thread and threads based on a specific topic is that this thread typically focuses on the news of the day. Meaning it most likely won't be focused on Syria tomorrow but the Syria thread will be.
