The reason the FBI didn't want this released was because it officially implicates FBI officials of partiality. They don't play that game. Also, it makes it harder for them to get things done internationally and trust is broken between allies. This memo, however, fell short because it is filled with inaccuracies. Anybody with basic IC knowledge knows the memo is bogus and can point out falsehoods or half facts from miles away. The goal of the memo is to say the evidence was illegally obtained on Trump associates. This would mean ending the Russia investigation. Is that gonna work ? Nope. The info on Page is valid and verified. He was under investigation before Trump was running for office.
The IC boys will not take this lightly. Even if he fires RR is fired, it has to be someone from the inside to replace him, and they have to be confirmed by Senate. Trump cannot just put a lackey in place. The successors of RR are also feds. So, he can fire RR all he wants.
Now, to FLake, McCain and other Rethugs saying Trump is doing Putin's job, fukk you and go fukk yourself. the main problem is that Fusion GPS is literally not "perfect" and thus Trump can point out any single flaw as being enough to throw the whole thing out.
