Trump makes Bush sound like a fukking genius 
dubya was relatively quiet during the obama years, basically just painting weirdo shyt in his tub. he sees the trump years as the time to put in that rehab work on his image. i'm convinced that because of trump people will start to have positive thoughts about his time as president.

Obama would have been a much harder target. Trump is much more universally hated and from the same party. He can use Trump as a stepping stone to make his years in office look retroactively better. The same couldn't really be said of Obama.
