Will never understand the antagonistic attitude on both sides of this issue. Either way, you need the votes and support. What purpose does this attitude serve outside of soothing a personal desire for snark?

The antagonism is that Bernie is an old school liberal Democrat, while the Clinton's clique are actually Republican lite. The Clinton crowd call themselves centrists, but they are really moderate Republicans and are pushing moderate Republican policies equal to Reagan's policies and calling them Democratic. Bernie is a true liberal Democrat and the Clinton crowd hate him.

At the end of the day, ideological differences that pale in comparison to either in contrast to the republicans are meaningless if you have no power to implement any of it.

While this debate rages, 2018 is approaching and the Democratic Party doesn't seem to have any overarching messages beside hate Trump.

Those ideological differences are not meaningless though. The Clinton wing of the Democratic Party (aka Centrist Democrats/Republican lites) have more in common with the Republican party of Donald Trump. Think about it Trump used to be a Democrat and Hillary Clinton used to be Republican. That is how close the two parties are and the policies are not as far apart as they pretend, which is why there are so many swing voters.

The Bernie Sander's wing of the Democratic party is the actual Democratic party. The party was hijacked by the Clintons. Sanders has nothing in common with the Clinton wing of the Democratic Party or the Republican Party. Bernie is keeping it real. He is actually and truly a liberal Democrat and he is showing that he and the Clintons are not in the same party. Bernie needs to launch that 3rd party, but the Clinton wing would fight him; because half of the voters would go with Bernie. If Bernie left then the Clinton wing could be even more conservative and they could finally nail down those moderate Republican and swing voters that keep jumping between the Democratic and Republican party. The swing voters hate the liberal wing of the Democratic, so with Bernie gone they would jump on Board with the conservative Democrats.

That's why I'm still skeptical anything happens to Trump or the ReThugs. Even a blind man can see Trump is an idiot, but what policy or platforms is the DNC running on to truly get people to support them and get a majority in the House & Senate again?

Again Trump isn't going anywhere anytime soon, we need to focus on where we can make the most impact

Actually Trump is the one thing that they all can agree on. All Democrats and the moderate Republicans are united on Trump. He is an idiot and they intend to get rid of him either this year or next. They are united on that.

People need to stop lumping all Republicans together. Jeb Bush, Kasich, Comey, Mueller, Burr, McCain etc., are moderate Republicans. Moderate Republicans are going to be the ones that do in Trump. You can tell. They can't stand that guy and it is them that are teaming with the Democrats to work on getting his ass out.

Clinton is NOT a republican.

I really wish y'all would stop trying to force this shyt.

Not being as far left doesn't make you literally Reagan.
