Looking to invest in a new pair of running kicks. Been using the Asics Gel Kayano the last few pairs, but hearing the new models are weak. Currently training fory my 1st half marathon, and interested in yall runners opinion on what yall using.

Go to a store that specializes in running. They will have treadmills and have you run on them to see how you pronate, etc

I always end up with asics when I do this... some friends others. I have high arches though, and since I started this, I haven't had any injuries like with past shoes.

I've also never paid more than 100 or so when doing this, and they feel so :wow:

I rotate pairs of Nike Flyknit Lunars, Trainers, and a pair of racers.

they feel better every time i wear them. I eat through tread though cause i run exclusively on cement.

If you are going to be doing a half marathon and all the training it involves to get prepared for it, don't go to footlocker or anything. Go to a store that specializes in running shoes you can get the correct type for your feet. The ones you get at regular stores are for people who just run a few miles. Once I did this, I stopped having any significant pain from running.
