So I hear you're something of a cinephile, well listen up film geek.

I wanna recoup my losses from the pandemic and I need double features so I can price gouge on tickets and get extra concession money from intermission.

No sequels, no franchises or universes, because studios want too big a cut.

Get me a crowd, make me some money. . . . . or you're fired!!!

:banderas:Al Pacino and Oscar Isaac back-to-back in very similar movies and performances.

"Catch Me If You Can" (Dec 25th)

You could also do "Heat" vs "Insomnia." Both star Pacino as a detective whose life is unraveling.

You could swap "Deja Vu" with "Crimson Tide" in the Tony vs Ridley shootout but "Deja Vu" and "American Gangster" were released within a year of each other so I think that double feature works better.

The Not Die Hard Double Feature

"Under Siege" and "Speed" I know they both have sequels but I'll allow it. If that don't work, then u could do "Cliffhanger" and "Sudden Death."

Presidential Not Die Hard Double Feature

"Air Force One" and "White House Down"

Father vs Son Spike Lee Joints

"He Got Game" first cuz it came out in 98 and Denzel plays a father. "BlacKkKlansman" starring Denzel's son, John David. You could do "Malcolm X" instead of "He Got Game" but that movie is almost 3 and a half hours.

The Not A Remake Rewind

"Disturbia" and "Rear Window" I'd show "Disturbia" first since it's the updated version of "Rear Window" and would make for a cool experience from that perspective with watching the "original" afterwards.

Heavyweight Hidden Gems From The Early Aughts

"Panic Room" directed by David Fincher in 2002. "Out of Time" starring Denzel in 2003. Both good movies that are Crime, Drama, Thrillers.

Spies in Disguise (With a Couple of No-Names)

"True Lies" starring Arnold and Jamie Lee Curtis and "Knight and Day" starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. Both star huge movie stars, known for action and well known leading ladies who stumble into the world of action comedy espionage. If you've ever seen them, "Knight and Day" plays out a lot like an updated "True Lies," which is great. "Knight and Day" is an overlooked entry in Tom Cruise and James Mangold's filmography.
