It’s been quite a few months since Sony Computer Entertaiment released a major PS4 firmware update(2.00). Just a few days ago, though, Blog Manager Fred Dutton commented that the new update is not too far out, and information about it will be forthcoming.
Today, a rumor regarding this upcoming PS4 firmware update was started by Tidux, who successfully leaked information on these PlayStation 4 system updates in the past. He mentioned that gamers should expect it on or around 29 March, and it will be a significant update with some brand new features.
Truth to be told, there are still many features lacking from PlayStation 4. From the suspend/resume functionality which was originally promised by Sony to the lack of DLNA, but there are also smaller additions that gamers would like to see such as the ability to copy songs on the hard drive or to be able to organize folders.
