RUMOR: AJ styles wants a reduced schedule

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com is reporting that A.J. Styles and the WWE are in the midst of negotiating a new contract. As part of the negotiation, Sapp is reporting that Styles is looking to work a reduced schedule much in the same manner that Randy Orton does.

Styles is apparently pushing for a lighter work schedule so that he can spend more time at home with his family. This would be in line with A.J’s comments on the “WWE 365: A.J. Styles” Network Special.

Take this as a rumor for now, but it is possible that we have seen the last of A.J. Styles working a full time wrestling schedule. LOP will bring additional information on this story as it becomes available

he'll still be on TV every week, but will likely have a rotating schedule of something like just TV one week, 2-3 house shows and TV the next, back to just TV, etc.

If the wwe would have signed about 10 years ago. I think AJ would probably be the biggest thing in the E. I enjoyed his current run. Never a bad match

Makes sense, I'm pretty sure he's wrestled more singles matches in these last three years than he did in his career leading up to WWE.
