In Madden it's so obvious. Be up by 20 points and then suddenly Josh Freeman will throw for 300 yards in the last quarter and their wide receivers will be wide open.:comeon:

Played a game against the Giants a while back. Up by 13 points. On two possessions in a row their 1st play is a bomb to a wide open Victor Cruz.:childplease:

It must be in 2K13 too cos suddenly my team start playing even more trash that usual.:sadcam:

Pump the brakes homie.

If you knew how to powerslide properly, you could spend 2 laps in 8th then come back and take 1st place in the final lap.

MK64 had the right balance between the items being useful but not overkill and skill being a major factor.

Now, if you're talking about Mario Kart Wii I could understand

That game broken as all hell. If somebody gets that damn Bullet Bill bullshyt, ya whole game is fukked up and no amount of skill will change it.

Game is way too random to play any other way than casually

In Madden 98 Barry Sanders were ridiculously over powered on some halfback toss + spin = 70 yard touchdown every play. After you racked up some 600+ running yards, the opposing wide receivers Moss you till the end of the game.:to: Not to mention the O-line completely falls apart by the 4th quarter and they stop pulling:beli:

It's in all the NBA 2K games, but you can turn it off since 2K3. "Clutch"

the only thing that is more annoying to me is triggering-events in video games that are supposed to be lifelike.

A major game developer brought that to my attention recently. Like when you know when you get half way into a room a monster is gonna jump out at you...or when you open a door x and go to the right, a demon bites you. We should be past that. It takes away from the spontaneous nature of gaming....

Anyway back to the topic...its SO FREAKIN OBVIOUS in fighting games and sports games.

All time worst:

NBA Jam
NFL BLITZ :damn: :why:
Madden (any one since 2001)
King of Fighters bosses (god forbid you have Rugal or Geese with like 20% health and you don't close it out...YOU ARE DEAD)
Mario Kart 64
THQ Fighting games with Stonecold and Hogan

nba street is the worse culprit i have encountered wit rubberband ai.. and the harder the difficulty the more pronounced it is..

NOTHING was as bad as NFL blitz thats for damn sure. You WERE going to fumble at the 1 if you were down by 6. They STRAIGHT UP CHEATED in that game if they were behind. Forcing fumbles on 4 straight drives to win games and stuff....MIDWAY gives ZERO EFFS when it comes to rubberband AI.
