I was the thinking the same thing.
There is no "new Black radical" there are already plenty of Black activists (I don't use the term "revolutionary" unless there's actually a revolution), who align themselves with radical politics (ie anarchist, communism, socialism, etc.) who also focus on Black nationalism.
It hasn't changed in decades, though many tactics have proved to be tired.

New "radicals" should use history to know that visibility is the enemy. Street level protests aren't going to get things done

It's going to have to be within a controlled cooperative corporate structure with plans to gain and provide resources that people need in order to help themselves and others to further an agenda from the street to Washington in the form well funded PACs
