It's time we stop lying about this nikka, honestly.

Like he ain't been rapping for 20 years and has 0 great albums to his name. Not even gonna use the word classic.

Like people are supposed to be scared of him because he barks on records when he has put in NO WORK OF ANY KIND on the street.

Like this nikka ain't been riding coattails his whole fukking career.

Like this so called top tier rapper hasn't lost a battle before.

The buck stops here breh

1. Thats your opinion. People would argue Death Is Certain, Book Of Ryan and even the latest joints as great albums.
2. That a matter of perspective. I never seen son as the big time street nikka no matter what he be barking. But regardless you’re not suppose to be afraid of no man just based off his persona or raps lol.

ITS NOT ABOUT WRITING HIM OFF....

HE TOOK A WEEK TO WRITE
THIS shyt, TOOK THE FIRST SWING
AND LOST THE 1ST RD.

nikkaS JUST CALLING IT HOW IT IS.
Naw im talking bout the ones claiming son is just severely outmatched/outclassed based off this back n forth. Which really if we counting the freestyles lupe did before, this would count as a response to those. But again it depends on where you starting from. Either way Lupe up rn just off being more direct with his shyt

Translation= This Ninja Turtles, Yu Yu Hakusho, Johnny Quest watching nikka hit me with a haymaker and i’m scrambling to come up with a response but can’t so just know real nikkas take “the High Road” when they are clearly outclassed

Would've been fitting if he called Lu's response "vulgar" :ahh:

This muscle head hype man mother fukker really forcing me to...dap Lupe Fiasco in the year of our lord, 2021. I'm disgusted.
:hhh:

Royce's track wasn't bad...but it was empty. It was a lyrical exercise, from a man who did not understand the assignment. This isn't about who can rap and who can't. I hate both these nikkas and admit they can rap - to varying levels of quality of course. So turning in a track of lyrical miracle gymnastics, while somewhat dope, gets a failing grade when the point was to diss. Yea there are some veiled shots in there, but you can't present yourself as a real rapper who really does this shyt while taking a page from the book of one Aubrey Graham. You don't win off subs.

So then I listened to the Lupe response immediately afterwards, hoping to hate it. EXPECTING to hate it. Your boy was damn near giddy to come in here and shyt on @Zero and all you other Lupe cinematic universe ass nikkas. But...Lupe bodied that shyt effortlessly. This wasn't even a brief "you know I'm gonna fukk you up right" jab, like the Stillmatic freestyle. This was straight up shot after shot, direct. And some lyrical miracle shyt thrown in to show yea I can do that shyt too.

All icy, talk spicy like the house of Atreides
:damn:

Aite Lupe, I see you. I'm still holding you personal liable for Lasers and all that other wack shyt you fed me, and best believe I'm watching TV at 1AM waiting for a hotline to call to file an audio abuse claim, like those asbestos victim commercials. But even haters gotta be fair sometimes.

Btw, I feel Lupe got the first round, but just from a pure MCing perspective, Royce was rapping much better in his diss. The way he was switching in out of flows, pockets, syllables was incredible.

Reminds me of takeover/ether dynamic in a way. This track is dope af on it's own but the shots are spread thin compared to SLR.

Listening to Royce float on this was like listening to a really good Trumpet or Sax Player go off.

That was a master class in flow. Lol.
He missed the beat once or twice over 7 minutes. :whew: absolute monster. :whew:

Listened to both songs again, and Royce basically did what Lupe stans said Lupe is better at, and actually rapped better than Lupe did, which was what the whole shyt was about in the first place:jbhmm:

Royce won because he proved he's the better MC, and Lupe dropped a better diss song so he won the battle :manny:

So basically the exact opposite most people thought it would be
