Went with spark. Loved that vocal chop. Very cool beat. Ak's beat was simple but almost perfect tho. I could hear talib on it actually.


Still....i was like trying to fit these into the uptempo category. But i enjoyed both regardless.

I was going the route of one of them street joints that gets played like crazy in the club...The song I have envisioned would make more sense to you if you was an actual song, it also does not include Talib...not sure how u hear him on this lol.

i dont know where i got talib from either. It was def a compliment tho. He recently had a trap-type single so maybe thats where it came from. Hes branching out. I think his voice would sound good on the beat.

Its not like a gucci or jeezy trap beat but trap-ish. Heavy 808 with a bass line i think is from Masta ace sittin on chrome album. Its kinda dope. But different for him.

Spark's beat is . The vibe to the joint is so smooth. I think it still would've still been dope without the vocal chops on the verses. All that's missing on AK's track is Swizz, thankfully you ain't call him to ruin it. Like the melody and the breaks, simple but yet effective. 05 Cassidy track. Good batlle fellas.

Both beats were hard and great at what they were aiming for.

I rockd with Akademik though just cause that shyt is some vintage east coast club shyt. I think you can still get in there now. Spark's rnb joint was dope too, the chops and the drums were tight, but I fukked with 'Demik's beat a bit more.

Thanks, I really appreciate it the constructive criticism. I have a habit of speeding up my samples because I was really into Kanye when he first came out and his influence still shows in a lot of my shyt.

I will try to cut down on that. Preciate it
