@KushSkywalker I don't think I ever heard this style from you...you done came out with a J dilla flow and shyt :damn: shyt was nasty breh
looks like they finally woke up the sleeping giant :ehh:
@UncomfortablyNumb you have bought nothing but HEAT all tourney and each one has been extremely creative and diverse :wow: dope shyt right here. I felt it could have had just a lil bit more breakdowns but that not a knock on the beat at all!
I'm going to have to give this one to @KushSkywalker based on he was a little more creative with the sample but :salute: to both

I want to vote for both, but I can't.
That @KushSkywalker record swings, you don't here the end of what he was aiming for until about .49 seconds in where you really see the vibe take shape.

As far as swing and drum sound- I really like this

@UncomfortablyNumb - That record just groups straight through and is in the pocket right away. As far as groove I really like this one.

It's a toss up but for this one I'm voting for @UncomfortablyNumb

Great battle

Both beats were cool, but I like Kush beat more. shyt was funky, but catchy. Beat sounded like some shyt Rod would do.

Un beat had a nice vibe too.

@KushSkywalker beat is dope! My first listen was through my iPhone, which didn't really do it justice. That being said, I would never vote on a battle without listening to the beats through my monitors/car stereo, etc. Bass line is super funky, drums knock as always, plenty of space for an artist to shine over this one. Glad I listened again on good speakers because I missed a lot of the subtleties in this one the first time around (love the birds chirping).

@UncomfortablyNumb brought the fire this round as well. Great chops and groove. Love the strings and the vocal chop that comes in every few bars. This is the kind of beat that the right artist could really elevate. This is def one of those beats you throw on in the whip and freestyle with the homies to.

This is a tough one. Gonna come back and vote after I listen a few more times.

Great battle

My exact sentiments here, probably my fav round so far. I still need to run Cory's and Chubb's round but I went through the rest this morning and thought this round was super close to choose. Total perfection overall.

Kush's beat is a head nodder and real funky.

Numb's beat just felt more in line with the theme and was more soulful so it got my vote but it's a close battle.

Damn yall trippin on this one. That Kush Skywalker beat is fire. Uncomfortably Numb is soulful, but I felt the groove was too 'on the nose'
