@franknitty711 Dope! Good mix, great sound, good drum patterns.

@kalute There is so much reverb on this that the track doesn't glue together.

Is the effect on the masterbus? If so you can make better use of it by taking it off the master channel and putting it on a seperate send track or each individual instrument you find that may need it.
You have a great composition, if the mix reflected that this would be a better track

My vote for this battle goes to @franknitty711

Frank took this one. Beat was dope and had some thump. Nice lil melody as well.

Kalut beat was cool, just couldn't get into it like that.

I got to say again that I'm amazed at @franknitty711 's son ear for a 12 year old. :wow: and to actually see a visual of him gives an even deeper perspective cause there's so much other stuff he could be doing other than putting together truly dope ass beats :mjcry:
@Kalut love your beat...that bassline is :whoo: it has that Bay/Detroit area hump to it.
The deciding factor in this battle for me is that the mixing on Fn711's track is stronger as kalut's could stand for the snare to snap a little more as the bassline is so prominent thaat it pretty much shuts everything else down. The vocal sample on fn711 does get repetitive at times but he does mix it up enough to not just overtake the rest of the sounds. My vote in this one goes to @franknitty711 but :salute: to both

Sat on this one for a minute, and enjoyed both going into the ride for work this morning.

Went with Frank on this one, the best work the kid has put so far imo. Sample was dope and mix was excellent. Any pointers to give on mixing in FL, please pass along:francis:

Battle was a close call for me as kalute's beat had that float/bounce factor, kind of reminded of something that would be on the original robocop movie or late 80's video game, cold production right here:obama:
