Round 2: The Unknown Hype vs DBR

DBR took this one. Got dayum that beat went hard as fukk. Good shyt on fusing the element with your style. No complaints from me. Beat was nice as hell. Unknown Hype had a dope beat, but I just thought DBR's was just overall better in every way.

thought unknowns had really good ideas but it just didn't flow as well as I wanted it to. like I can tell the same is amazing but it just was so herky jerky fam. Not really seeing the fusion either lol. With a lil reworking shyt could be dope af tho. the percussion in the drums was slightly off beat to me as well. Had to give it to dbr.

lol its oriental but cant lie I had to make it yesterday since I had procrastinated up til then. sample is from yuna shes from indonesia and is big over there apparently so its oriental just not what most would consider that foreign to what we have

DBR is one of my fav' dudes on here and he aint disappoint me with another banger. Beat was hard as fukk. My favorite part of the beat were the two different breakdowns/transitions especially the one with the horns/strings if I was a rapper I would def. wanna go in on that part. All the elements you put in the beat worked really well.
Unknown came with a good beat but It didn't quite get to the heights of the DBR beat. Plus, the chorus part where you bought in the vocal sample seemed high or off in the mix. I was def. fukking with the verses part of the beat but DBR just came with that banger.

Both very nice beats. Really nice sample by Hype. I like the difference sounds DBR used in his arrangement. The xylophone(?) throughout the beat mixed very nicely to leave room for all your other instruments. With the theme of this week, had to roll with DBR. Salute to you both,
