I agree with Flav. Yall have to take more time to put out better sounding joints instead of just making the beat and throwing in in the battle. Your work will be more appreciated when you take time to do all the necessary work needed for it to sound good.

Dean all of your sounds are peaking fam. You are deep in the red with this one. Work on mixing ya sounds better homie. You don't need all your sounds at the highest level possible...at all. Mix them at lower volumes and use a compressor to make your beat bump at a level that suits you. I like what you did with your chops and breakdowns, but you completely fukked everything with that mix.

Zoneout got my vote because he has a better mix and his beat sounds better because of it.

I have been voting based on how good the beats are and how good they are mixed. I have heard some decent/good beat spuit together, but because of the mixing or lack there of I vote against em.

i dont mind a nice loud beat but damn some of these beat makers is ABUSING the volume to where that shyt is looking like a straight block! (see soundcloud wav file). compare your beat volume to good smooth mainstream rap songs that sound good on your own system not 80s heavy metal music.

Zoneout took this one. Love the guitar and the overall completeness the beat has. Good vibe. Beat is epic but that mellow turning point type of epic not that upbeat triumphant type epic which is nice cuz you have different types of epic sounding beats.

Dean's beat was nice but yeah I gotta agree with the others about the mixing quality. It does take away from the overall listening experience as well as the beat completeness. shyt was loud. I can overlook shyt like that sometimes when the melody is ill or I really like the vibe but when the other dude makes a beat with a melody just as good as yours all while mixing their beat better than most often they take it.

I ain't trying to sound preachy or nothing though. I rap so my perspective comes from a nikka who spit so I can't give detailed advice on producing like the others can. I just know what I like to hear.
