Format
-64 participant tournament format.
-One round battles. Final round will be best of three.
-Battles will be open to all styles of hip-hop. Beat with the most votes wins.
-Participant has 2 days after the submission date to post there track. After the 2nd day, the participant will be given a loss and eliminated.
-First round battles with a no show will be rescheduled with another opponent.
-Open slots will be given to select participants in the first round. Selection will be made by a small panel of voters. At the moment we have 3 open slots.
Submitted track
-Be respectful. If you don't feel someones beat, be constructive with your feedback.
-Submit beats inside your battle thread. Do not post until you get confirmation your opponent is ready.
-If you need time or have to drop out completely, please let us know.
-No verses of choruses on the track unless its part of the beat.
-Must be one beat each round. If using a beat switch, the second beat cannot be longer then 20 seconds.
Voting
I know everyone has a different style or taste, so to combat that, I made a list of things to consider before you place your vote.
Arrangement - You can follow the track, How well the track was put together.
Execution - Did they achieve what they aimed for. How well did they developed the idea. etc.
Mix - Not much explanation needed.
Overall Preference - Which beat vibed with you more.
What you like is subjective, but the process of make a good beat can be very objective. Please take objectives into consideration first.
