LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police say boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s uncle and longtime trainer is missing.

Roger Mayweather was last seen around 3 p.m. Saturday less than a mile away from Mayweather Boxing Club.

Authorities say the 55-year-old suffers from several medical issues and does not have his medication.

They are asking all area hospitals to check their registries.

Roger Mayweather, who is 5-foot-7 and 160 pounds, was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue sweatpants and white tennis shoes.

A former fighter, Roger Mayweather was replaced as his nephew’s trainer for several fights last year by Floyd Mayweather Sr.

According to the club’s website, Roger Mayweather has had a longtime struggle with diabetes.

He's got diabetes, eyesight and kidneys are failing...

I don't recall what Floyd said exactly regarding Rogers mental situation...

He said Roger leaves the house sometimes to pick something up around the block and can't remember where he lives...

Floyd Jr. needs to put Roger in adult daycare or provide him with a nursing assistant 24/7. If he doesn't this might not end well.

Been going thru this with an Uncle...:snoop: Them ol time nikkas is stubborn and dun listen :wow: They might have tried to get him to accept adult care but he ain't having it :pacspit: The pride is strong my nikkas :yeshrug:

I know that's really tough. When my grab dad's dementia started to get really bad we had to literally barricade the doors so he wouldn't get outside and get lost in the neighborhood. He couldn't do adult daycare cause he was strong like a bull & wouldn't cope well with strangers. So in home care was how it was until he passed.

I hope things go well for your Unc.
