I agree. Punk probably gets it back from Cena quickly.
If Rock wins title before Rumble match, that'll give Cena even more motivation to win. Kinda like when HBK needed to win to get the rematch with Taker.
Also, Rock would have to survive an elimination chamber to get there which would be his first ever EC match.

So who wins the Rumble? Cena again, right? I thought if SOME kind of swerve happened with Rock/Punk, Rock might come in@30 and win. But it seems kind of obvious that it's Rock/Cena 2....NY is gonna be ruthless to Cena though with the predictable finish.

As lame as it got at some points, part of the Rock/Cena charm (if you can call it that) was its long build. Rock/Cena 2 would just be a dime a dozen match if they set it up in Feb.

the title could use being treated the way it's supposed to be. This is probably the first storyline where the title has been treated like it means something since it was put on Punk and even this has muddied it's prestige. This draw doesn't help matters

I agree which is why I think Rock should get it. A guy of his status won't be treated as an afterthought and if he treats like it means something, which he would, why else would he come back, it would elevate the title. It's unfortunate that they're in a position where they have to elevate the title but that's the situation they've gotten themselves in.

Rock enters the Rumble @30, but gets eliminated by Cena. Rock then pulls Cena over, a fight ensues, setting up Rock/Cena II @ Mania.
Punk goes on to WM to face the RR winner:

It's better than no prestige, they're not putting Punk in the top spot, they've not put anybody else anywhere near that position and the alternative is Cena, who's already said the title doesn't mean shyt.
