It's not a proven fact. But I just don't recall any other bands with an industry push after them. Maybe Mumford and Sons (hardly rock)? Idk

John Lennon’s solo career is a farce.

Almost every album he made received mixed to negative critical reception during his lifetime, after he died they were all reassessed & acclaimed.

Tried giving some of it a listen, and it’s trash compared to McCartney & Harrison’s work.
