UBI would be funded by what? Increased taxes on billionaires.

If billionaires learn they're getting taxed, they will fund whomever will block that.

Look at what elon musk is doing RIGHT NOW. And he's not stopping in America, he's going to spend billions of dollars to put people into office that will keep him from ever paying reasonable taxes.

Unless America decides to actually say "nah, enough." and elect someone who will pack the Supreme Court, overturn citizens united, and reinstitute the marginal tax rate and raise capital gains tax and close the loopholes pieces of shyt like him used to stay rich AND cut off his government subsidies, that won't happen.

The democrat party is basically the boss that hears that you're overworked and underpaid and wants to respond by offering you a ten hour work day and a day off every other week on Tuesday or Thursday+ a pizza party at the end of the month. And the Republicans are the boss that would just tell you to stop complaining and question your time management skills before deciding to just fire you.

It is in the interests of all business owners to minimize cost and maximize profit. To that end they'll use automation, they'll use immigrant labor, they'll use AI. They'll use anything to remove you the human out of the equation except if you're a customer.

And of course in their infinite wisdom they have no plan for who exactly is supposed to pay them when everyone is getting replaced by robots or h1b immigrants.

all it takes is one line from malicious code injection and Atlas is chokeslamming grandmas in the street. @Artificial Intelligence chill
Funny thing is, with the growing amount American tech workers out of work, and pissed off, it's entirely possible they could do this. They could also hack into EVs like Tesla and download all the location data and data in the vehicle including any audio recordings.

The rich are playing a very dangerous game. They believe they've tamed an animal and it's their pet. If there is even a 1% chance your 5 pitbulls will turn on you, unless you're strapped at all times, whatever room you're in when they snap will look like a Jackson pollock painting.

Don't let bosses and ceos fool you, their jobs have been automatable for at least a decade. This shyt is still going to be expensive in a decade and it's not going to be flipping burgers or be a janitor

We got like 15-20 years before universal basic income kicks in.

Link above is a video.

I swear this has to be AI. I remember a video like this dropped a year or two ago. It was a video with a robot running up a sidewalk.

Either way if this real, the future is :lupe:
