I used to work heavy with incarcerated youth and shyt given ny own blunders as a kid and wanting to show others that education is a way out. I believed in reforming the juvenile justice system and in shyt like Raise The Age. But after my recent mentoring at the two juveniles detention in NYC
and seeing how different these young cats are I’m sorry but nikkas gotta bring back harsher penalties for these lil nikkas. Coming up we knew getting caught with a ratchet would give you minimum 3 1/2 years etc but these young nikka still 17-18 getting caught with hammers and released! But I’m telling you that’s no surprise. putting on kid gloves and letting these little violent nikkas slide again and again under the guise that “teens don’t fully develop nor understand the consequences of their actions until 21” bullshyt is by design.
It’s interesting too how here in NYC the lower level positions within the juvenile justice system/ACS is all minorities but the cats making the decisions and these reforms are all white. Crazy disparity. I mean I shouldn’t be surprised but goddamn if you really about making change you need ppl who understand and can really bring the change needed.
Side note: when I was coming up nikkas was getting money and shyt. NONE of these cats are about their bread! Gang shyt and being perc upped like fukking junkie is what you see a lot of these young nikka about. Surprised me also the amount of nikkas locked up for rape/sexual assault.

Legal systems across different parts of the country are shifting back to incarceration for offenses. Even in the most progressive areas and cities. Certain % of MFers are who they are, who they will always be. And have to be put away to protect the rest of society.

Man this shyt hurts to say but NONE. These nikkas are literally demons my G these nikkas really don’t
Now I was working with the AO’s aka Adolescent Offenders, the term for the most violent youth 16-18 yr old youth. ALL were facing minimum a body, with some also having attempted murders or rape as an additional charge. Don’t even get me started on how they talk about the female staff and shyt how they would rape them and all other foul shyt. The same cats talking about they love their moms and shyt saying they would rape other female
I’d say I would with over 100 kids when I was in NYC juvenile detention and I think only 1 had a chance. A small Mexican cat black belt who was a honor student and shyt (I looked him up he was even in a NASA summer program for bright middle schoolers ) and he was getting bullied and that same bullied supposedly recorded him getting inimitate with his little sister so he killed the nikka cause he posted it online. Kicked him in the head and then stabbed him with some material arts knife shyt in the jugular. That’s the only one out of 100 my G so that tells you everything talking to him I felt that he would have done amazing thing he was a nerd
