Rob Van Dam will be working for Impact Wrestling beyond Thursday’s United We Stand event. “It looks like you are going to be seeing my face around for the foreseeable future,” Van Dam told SportingNews.com. “We have an agreement to where I will be sticking after the show on Thursday. It does have a beginning and an end, but they can extend, so this is something to start us off. I had agreed to one match, and then we talked about and discussed doing their upcoming tapings after the show on Thursday and a couple of television tapings over the next few months.

“We looked at the schedule moving forward, and they asked if I was available. I told them I was. We will see how it goes. It’s a pretty friendly schedule, which has always been important to me. I want to be home more and on the road less.” Read the full interview at SportingNews.com.

impact wrestling is still operating? Why don't the WWE just purchase off TNA and make another invasion angle? at least the new WWE generation of wrestlers get to participate in some type of Armageddon war if they make it happen

I can’t front.... I ain’t watched Impact in so long now cuz I don’t have that channel...... but even I know WWE ain’t putting on better shows than Impact right now.

Whatever. I always though Impact was lower than the WWE when it comes to ratings, and viewership. to be fair, i don't have the time and patience to watch wrestling.. I guess those Youtube clips are alright.

But that don’t make their product better.

6hrs a week of WWE programming wasn’t even close to as good as one hr of Lucha Underground

You can't compare WWE to LUCHA because LUCHA is all pre recorded. the promos are almost hollywood like style.. the WWE does everything live .. i believe it is the same with backstage promos.. who knows..

but yeah, lucha has better wrestling..
