A popular Mexican restaurant was shut down during the week of Apr. 16-22, according to data from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
Orange County
Chipotle Mexican Grill Store 1883 at 2201 E. Semoran Blvd. in Apopka shut down on Apr. 18. Inspectors found six violations, two of which were a high priority for roach activity and food held at the wrong temperatures.Officials revisited the restaurant on Apr. 19 and found zero violations.
The restaurant complied with the emergency order and was allowed to reopen.
Complaints and warnings
Orange County had the top spot for most warnings and other complaints in Central Florida with 10.Volusia and Osceola had five, Brevard and Seminole had four, and Lake had one. Warnings given with required follow-up inspections could lead to a business being shut down if problems remain.
