Riddle, Karrion Kross & More Donate To QAnon Referee Drake Wuertz's Political Campaign - eWrestlingNews.com

“RAW Tag Team Champion Riddle and former NXT Champion Karrion Kross are just some of the names who have donated to the political campaign of ex-WWE referee Drake Wuertz.

Wuertz was released from WWE in May 2021 after a series of controversies including wearing WWE branded attire while arguing against mask mandates.

Wuertz is a candidate for the Republican nomination for Florida State Representative in the 30th district and a search of Florida’s State Department of Campaign Finance has revealed that his supporters have raised $17,733.56.

Drake himself donated $3,605.14, and the list of donors includes Riddle, Kross, Elias, Bobby Fish, Oney Lorcan, and Jimmy Jacobs.

The ex-referee stormed out of a meeting of all NXT talent ahead of TakeOver: In Your House 2020 when Triple H said that people of all colors and religions were welcomed as part of the brand.

He would later use his WWE corporate e-mail to organize events for QAnon, the far-right group of discredited conspiracy theorists.

Wuertz has also claimed that those on the left are part of a child-trafficking ring, another QAnon conspiracy, and much of his political campaign is about this alleged trafficking.

In the year preceding his release, Wuertz had loudly criticized other wrestlers for receiving vaccinations for the COVID-19 virus.”

Credit to @Kidd Dibiase for sharing this and @TOAD99 for the thread idea. :myman:

We been known about Kross and Fish being QAnon loons, but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised over an MMA bro being on that same shyt. Someone on Twitter said Billy Gunn’s wife donated, too. I remember someone saying Jimmy Jacobs was a Trumpie last year but I couldn’t find a source. Elias can stay gone. I’m expecting more names to drop in the future. :mjpls:

It makes for some of the worst dialog on this site.. nikkas really sit around like “OMG Jericho donated to Trump! Matt Riddles a Republican!! Oooh Weee, Tony Khan’s dad donated to Donald. Guys, KKKody Rhodes is MAGA, he got an America tattoo!!”

:snoop:

Get a fukkin life

Most of these wrestlecrackas are conservatives. More than half the world is. That shyt’s never gonna change. This haunt for Republican wrestlers ya’ll be on is played out.. if they white, just assume they’re Republican and keep it movin.

I’d be more moved if like Bobby Lashley came out the bag on some MAGA shyt.. a white being conservative is like water being wet

You really think Matt Riddle is making informed decisions? For all we know they gave him a bag of weed for a $20 donation.

Most rich people are Republicans and donate that way even black ones who seem to be down for every cause.

It makes sense to be concerned about this. It's one thing to merely vote but to donate is taking things to another level and is a full fledged endorsement for not only a politician but a great deal of what they stand for/associated with. Barring that, an attempt to game the system and gain favors from that politician or party. Buying these people's merchandise or being fans of them, our money does in part make their lives easier and make it easier for them to support these politicians. So yeah, there's nothing wrong in knowing where these dudes stand. I also think it silly to give these white guys a pass but hold a black wrestler to a more stringent ideal. :mjpls:
That said, Drake is really fukked in the head and not even a palatable republican that one can explain away in one respect or the other. Bad look all around. I wouldn't want my money helping any kind of fukkery there. I'm not even on that "all republicans are bad" but there is a limit to some of this stuff.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s fine to be concerned about this or anything…

My point is some random white pro wrestler being republican isn’t the “Ah haaa” investigative uncovering ya’ll think it is.

It’s literally white people being white. Maybe It’s just me and I’m the only person that feels this way, but some wrestlecracka’s political views is not high on my list of concerns. It’s such pointless news, but it seems to dominate these boards.

Like I said, if they’re white just assume they’re Republican

Edit: I think you misinterpreted what I said about Lashley. If someone like him came out and endorsed MAGA bullshyt, It would move me for the simple fact that as a black man myself, I’d be hurt that he’d take that stance. I’m all about me and my brothers. We champion this guy as a black dominant champion in a white sport, so it would feel like betrayal. With that said, I don’t give a fukk about these white guys and where they stand. Respectfully

You make a good point. In the end, I just like the information being out there, especially given how much of the consumer's money is why they can make the donations they can make. I can imagine the bigger issue with Riddle with a lot of people is that they thought he was different, especially since it seems like he is not only voting but donating against his own interest, then again, we saw similar with Sonya. Personally, I'm with you and not surprised but it's good for people to know who they are supporting.

Not making excuses for anyone, but I just saw this on Reddit. This mufukka swindling people into indirectly donating to his campaign :mjlol:

This doesn't fit the narrative, so it won't get brought up.

I'm old enough now to now that the person who put that article up is just as corrupt and filthy as the person the article is about.

Bobby Lashley is a trump supporter and Riddler looks like a racist judging by his masculine strongjawed wife.

It's very common that most racist cacs have extremely ugly wife's that look like @NotFrankWhite.
