Ripping DVDs

My friend is tryin 2 copy P90X dvds and needs help. He has a macbook and doesn't know where to start as far as progs to download. anyhelp brehs?

depends, ripping dvds is tricky. There are programs like Handbrake that do it, but you have to know what your doing and them that's hoping the dvd doesn't have copyright protection in place which it probably does , Only other options left are buying dvd burning software which can run from $30-$60 OR downloading it online , the links i gave you are a total of 35 gigs , thats HUGE ,will take a couple of days to download depending on his internet speeds BUT its free.

Alright...I'll carry this thread too.

Get DVD Shrink...get Handbrake since he has a Mac and that's just easy as fukk for an Apple device. They're both freeware. If you don't like DVD Shrink..use MakeMKV or DVD Fab 8 or better. Once you rip what you want, load the Video TS folder in Handbrake and choose a good quality number, save it in the concurrent ripped DVD folder, and that's it.

ok i dig it...basically those files dnt have the copywrite protection so he can jus burn them joints?
