The Grammy-winning singer/songwriter and producer LaShawn Danielshas reportedly died at the age of 41.
While a cause of death has yet to be confirmed, Daniels’s reported passing has led to an outpouring of grief from fans and collaborators, who have taken to social media to express condolences.
Daniels was best known for his collaborations with the music producer Darkchild, with songwriting credits on a litany of pop and R&B classics including Brandy and Monica’s “The Boy Is Mine”, “Lose My Breath” by Destiny’s Child, “Telephone” by Lady Gaga and Beyoncé, “If You Had My Love” by Jennifer Lopezand “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay” by Whitney Houston.

Sad part is, there's so many people his music touched who had no idea he existed or that he passed.

I'm a huge fan of a lot of those songs on that list and I'd like to think of myself as an R&B head but I admit his name wasn't familiar to me.
