yep. I was a senior in high school. We had this thing called Channel ! that would play on our classroom tvs and they discussed it. I was an Eazy fan since NWA and his debut and our teachers had no idea who the fuk he was lol. The crazy thing is that the latin singer Selena was killed about a week later and I had no idea who the hell she was, but our Spanish teacher and the few mexicans we had in our school knew her. I had never heard of Selena before her death and she was a huge superstar. I could tell you about Kausion, The Nonce, and other hip hop groups that weren't household names, but I had never heard of Selena.

I remember when Eazy-E passed and I remember when his album came out after he passed. He had some crazy death row diss songs on there. Eazy doesn’t have a bad album. All 4 of his CDs and the eternal e CD was the shyt. I remember being at the alternative school after getting expelled from the normal high school. We got to wear hats and smoke cigarettes, we had smoke breaks and some country white boy played Boyz n the hood, and every student from white to Mexican and us black students rapped word for word that shyt. Even this white boy hippie teacher started rapping it. Eazy was popular across race last and cultures. He was that cool, ain’t no one was gangster and cool as Eric Wright. I play 187 um Dre at least once a month.
