November 2 2000 Smackdown. Ivory vs Trish vs Jacqueline vs Lita. Not sure if Lita had got her full entrance, but you can tell they weren't going to get much time cause Jackie, Trish, and Ivory were all walking very fast and got their music cut pretty quickly. The match is quick yet packs a lot in it, and it helps that the crowd is VERY hot. Trish clearly is just starting out here, as she can do a very nice Bulldog but gets completely walked through this match by the other women. Even before the match, Val Venis, Test, and Albert give Trish encouraging words cause they aren't allowed at ringside, but they don't believe she has a shot in the slightest. Edge and Christian's interference is hilarious, as is Ivory's celebration. Her ring attire is but it fits her gimmick 100%.


November 6 Raw. The crowd is super hype for this, and it just reminds you how insanely popular the Hardyz and Lita were back then, and why they had been popular for so long. This is another wall to wall action match, maybe 6 minutes or so, and once again, Edge and Christian fukk over the Hardyz Steven Richards was insanely good in his RTC role here.

RTC should've had a revamp a LONG time ago, but with everything being so generally sanitized and tame now, what exactly would they be censoring?

I never liked how they kept putting over Edge and Christian all the time. Made my skin crawl back then. Lita was more over than all the tag teams..dont forget how she won the belt..they had Rock as guest ref and she pinned Steph in the main event.

Idk if anyone remembers this but to promote the RTC, they made it seem like they took over WWF.com for a few days. So you'd go to the main page or a superstars page it'd all be censored with a message from Stevie Richards. They put some work in on RTC and should've kept that momentum going.

Yep. WCW was actually after him for a LONG time even before then. He was supposed to jump to WCW in 1997, but he got an extension and became a Nation member.

Ivory and Molly Holly gotta be 1 and 1A for most before their time of the WWE women. Both in their work, but also in their builds/bodies. Both woulda gotten way more attention than a Terri or a Tori or a Sable if perception was then what it is now
