This reminds me of recently when I was listening to the Rocafella vs DBlock mixtape and I heard Freeway on one of the freestyles say something like "head to florida with my man Rick Ross" or some shyt like that, but he referenced Florida and Rick Ross in like 02...I was like damn Ross must've been known locally even back then to be worthy of that reference. Dude really seemed to be doing his thing for a long time, gotta respect that

maybe, i've always heard Freeway was on good terms with Ricky Ross whereas Rozay obviously has problems. but Rick Ross has been rappin for a long time, before the beard and the Maybach he was weaing tight 4XL throwbacks in Trina videos
