rice university in houston texas. i'm interested to see how this goes over. i guess being a private school with a multibillion dollar endowment will help, but at these schools the donors are king and if these right wing donors ain't feeling it then shyt rolls down hill.

Rice leans pretty liberal, it's not like it's A&M....but you never know.

There are plenty of "I don't see color" liberals too, lol

I think the couse desciption was made purposefully vague to get through the censors , but i get what they are going for.


Its actually kinda brilliant how it went over most of the white commenter's heads in the original article. I completely agree with them that it wouldnt help a white student at all. Sounds like the professor is aiming to arm aspiring black chemists with the tools they need for their unique pathway. Lord know how many hurdles we face in the other stem fields. The key phrase to me in the description was "addressing inequalities in chemistry and chemistry education".


Tbh , i dont think i have ever seen a black chemist in person
