Flair was taken to the emergency room before the show due to a sudden health issue and the doctor there told him there was no way he could wrestle. Those backstage said his left leg was badly swollen."

Despite being advised to check into the hospital for observation, Flair appeared on the AJPW show anyway and is flying back to the U.S. immediately, so he doesn't miss a series of autograph signings in Las Vegas next week.
