To me both the Freebirds and Rude deserve to enter in a pro wrestling Hall of Fame. The WWE HOF is a fukking joke so I don't get anyone wasting time arguing about how's in or not.

Rude was Bret's homie. This seems like a clapback.

Yup. The Bret/Flair is one of the dumbest feuds ever, they both sound retarded every time they try to take shots at each other.

Rick Rude was much more mainstream than the Freebirds...the Freebirds was just a down south thing and the Road Warriors was bigger than them.

You could present Rick Rude EXACTLY how he was in the late 80's right now with no revisions and drop him in any current organization. .. he'd be one of if not the hottest heel in your company

in 2016. That says something.

The Freebird Von Erich feud has stood the test of time and is still very much watchable but the Freebird gimmick and presentation would not work outside of the early 80's and in the southern territories IMO.

Who am I to argue with Flair but if Rude was dangerous I'm surprised he's the first person to mention it considering the folks he worked with from 88-1994, someone woulda brought it up in a shoot. Rude may just have been real snug with Ric because he didn't like him who knows

Hell Bret has ZERO filter and would have spoken on it in passing if it were true.

Says Rude was "impaired" and unsafe in the ring when he worked against him and it's why Hogan wouldn't work with him.

Just a little over a year ago Flair had a different reason for Hulk not wrestling Rude
Ric Flair Comments On Hulk Hogan Refusing To Work With Rick Rude, Steve Austin Working On New Campaign (Photo) - Wrestlezone
One subject that came up was Rick Rude; Flair said Hulk Hogan was afraid to work with him [Rude] because Hogan knew about Rude beating up Ultimate Warrior while still with the (then) WWF. Apparently it stemmed from Warrior saying Rude wasn’t good enough for a title shot.
