WWE has reportedly offered Rey Mysterio a lucrative deal to return to the company on a full-time basis in what can only be described as a complete turnaround of events.
Mysterio has been off WWE television for much of the year after WWE Chairman Vince McMahon used a clause in Mysterio's expiring contract to extend his deal for another year due to time Mysterio missed because of injury.
In fact, this turnaround is so unexpected that up until today it was believed Mysterio was done with WWE after he stopped cashing in his checks and recently appeared in a taped video for AAA's TripleMania pay-per-view telling fans he can't wait to return to the promotion.
Figure Four Daily, lucha expert Steve Sims reports that Mysterio has had a complete change of heart and WWE know they have absolutely no major name to help them in their Mexican market so affording Mysterio a sweet deal is something which they see as viable move.
Sims added the deal he heard Mysterio got is "the best of all the economic offers he's ever going to get for the rest of his life" which will see him likely on a reduced ring schedule to avoid major injury.
