if Jay did turn up for that final i would have hoped Ty Ty had the pepper spray on him because Joe might have really tried to do Jay bodily harm.

lol Joe was running around with a bunch of crazy short bus latinos. If he asked them to do ANYTHING, they would have tried to get it done, cause he was their hero.

Jay could’ve flown to St. Tropez any day of the week. He showed he really wasn’t from that Rucker/NYC Basketball culture when his squad no-showed. That was supposed to be the game of the summer.

but i thought the essence of that tournament (bringing celebrities and NBA stars to the hood) was to give young children/the community that experience some would only dream of...imagine if they turned up.....people were already in they thousands 6 hours before the scheduled time (forgive the blackout but thats just an example how everyone was looking forward to this).

if im rich with a celeb girl (who always claims to give back) i dont think a few days late + plus a few thousands lost on a holiday is less than what he would have got from that publicity...imagine the headlines: Jay and Bey delay romantic holiday to give back to the community
